GNU Free Documentation License How does Jenny Craig work? Is if safe for people that had previous eating disorders? Q. I am asking and being 100% serious so please I am begging no stupid/insulting answers. I am 21 and would like to lose weight, problem is I had an eating disorder for roughly 6yrs. I've been in recovery almost 2yrs so I'm doing good but it's really hard to diet without crossing the line back into an eating disorder. I wanted to try weight watchers but they don't allow people that had eating disorders to join. So my question is how does Jenny Craig work? Is it anything like weight watchers? Asked by the_lil_dark_angel - Tue Apr 14 14:40:51 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. I used to work for Jenny Craig. Jenny Craig is a calorie counting program. It is similar to Weight Watchers, except you purchase your food from Jenny Craig, and in Weight Watchers, you cook your own. The most highly successful program for exactly what you are describing in your question above, is one called, Weigh Down, by Gwen Shamblin. You can Google Search this, and find it easily. It is Internet based, as well as live groups in your area. All the information you need is on their website. This program has an extremely high success rate for people with eating disorders, addiction problems, or those wanting to lose weight. It is nominally priced, so most any budget can participate. I recommend Weigh Down head, and shoulders… [cont.] Answered by Terri Singer - Thu Apr 16 09:43:22 2009 What are common behavior disorders seen in public schools? Q. I am going for an interview for a Special Ed teaching position in a local high school. It is a self contained "BD" (assuming they meant Behavioral Disorders" class. I have a pretty good idea of the different types of disorders, I just want to make sure that I a familiar with everyone of them. I really want this position. Also - could anyone tell me what to expect in this interview? I am a new teacher and this is only my 2nd teaching interview. Thanks! I work in a Jr High class for kids with SED. I've been there for over 3 years now, and it suits me well. To make something like this work, you MUST have a good working relationship with your program psychologist, coordinator, and aides. You must brainstorm constantly and listen to all input. Trust your aides and let them know that you value their opinions. They are your ears & eyes when you're not around. I've worked with kids who were cutters, schizophrenic, bi-polar, severe ADHD, depression, psychotic, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. I've worked with suicidal kids, kids who have had severe trauma, and even one who… [cont.] Answered by Don'tWorryBeHappy - Mon Nov 24 18:23:23 2008 What mental disorders are people who have lived in a nuclear bunker for years after attack likely to develop?
Q. I am writing a play about a small group of people who have been living in a small nuclear bunker after an attack. One of the characters is going to suffer from multiple identities and schizophrenia. What other disorders are people stuck in this situation likely to develop? What effect would someone new, entering this bunker to 'rescue' the inhabitants, have on the people living there? Asked by Lord G - Sun Jul 5 12:00:25 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I don't think they would really have a serious mental disorder. They would probably be scared of large areas, how the world looks like, new people (they would probably think they mutated or that they are retarded). The fear of the unknown is normal for humans.
