Where does the compulsion of corporations to make even more profit than the previous year lead?
Q. I mean, they already use slave labor, buy governments, start wars, what's next?

A. At this point there are only 25 really, really big trans national corporations...16 of them fully American. Many other corporations are almost as big so for the sake of argument, let's say there are 100 corporate giants that pretty much have it wrapped up. But wait...there's more! Becuase of massive tax breaks and who knows how much corporate moola is stashed in 'off-shore' banks these corporations are always hungry to snap up one of the small fish to eliminate competition and to increase market share. Why is online shopping such a compulsion for me?
Q. I have abused alcohol and drugs in the past, and now shop for things I end up not needing or caring about in the long run. It makes me feel good when I'm doing it, but now I'm in debt and feel bad about it. My mind knows I have to stop, so why don't I? Thanks for any insight.

A. The act of shopping stimulates the production of endorphins, producing much the same effect as drugs do, it gives you a high. Addictive personalities crave this high. That is why you have trouble stopping. What you should know is that the actual buying does not give you the same high. The act of "window shopping" is what does. So, if you can successfully browse without actually buying you will be taking a giant step forward! Prolong your want. Don't gratify instantly. This is one of the best things I have learned in life. Instant gratification gives too fleeting a pleasure, the pleasure is in the wanting. (and if you prolong that wanting long enough it will dissipate). Good luck! Stand and be true
