The globally-recognized time standard is GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), which is the zone that London, England is in. Your zone is eight hours ahead, so when it is 4:00 pm there, it is 8:00 am GMT. This would require converting your times to GMT times, by adding eight hours to each. Here is a neat site which shows all the time zones around the world. Simply move the mouse pointer to whichever zone you want, and then click: Edit: I made a mistake, should have said by subtracting eight hours from each of your times, not by adding to them.
